1855 Vidal
This slightly sweeter white wine is made from the Vidal grape
Our 1855 wine features the Vidal grape. This hybrid grape was developed during the Depression in the Canadian Niagara Peninsula. Although commonly produced as an ice wine, these Vidal grapes were not a late harvest grape and therefore make an excellent table wine as they have only been sweetened to 5%. The wine’s fruitiness and floral aromas are its main characteristics.
The finish of our Vidal goes nicely with blue cheese and chicken. The Peachy Pa’s BBQ sauce is a natural fit for this light and refreshing white wine.
